Tamara is a mother of 2, boy, Kesean, 14 years old and daughter, Tamia, 10 years old. Tamara married her high school sweet heart of 17 years and counting on June 14, 2008.Tamara is family oriented and spends her spare time reading, shopping, socializing and attending self-motivational support groups.

 

Tamara Johnson is a health care professional with over 15 years of experience caring for people with all genres of disabilities. Tamara first began her health care venture in 1996 as a Dietary Aide in a nursing home facility. 2 years later,Tamara advance in the health care field and became a Certified Nursing Assistance for 3 years in a nursing home supporting residence with physicals disabilities, traumatic brain injury, advanced aging and developmental disabilities. In 2003 Tamara discovered her passion in Human Services and continues her experience in a Community Based Residential Facilities and Adult Family Homes.

Tamara exceeded great achievements in her role in Human Services advancing in her career by providing support to her clients and staff. Tamara received a plethora of certifications and was later invited to attend the WALA Administrators Training Course in 2013. Tamara’s passion is to make a difference in ones lives by giving them a voice and enhancing their ability to achieve reachable goals is pertinent.

April was born in Chicago, IL and is the youngest of 3 siblings. She has 4 children, Shanice, 21; Marlon , 18; Mikiya, 12; and Mikiyell, 13. Some of her interest outside of work is spending time with her family, reading, attending informational seminars, traveling and gardening.
 
April relocated to Green Bay, WI in 2003 to begin a life changing experience working in the Human Service Community. In her 14 years of experience and many roles, from Certified Nursing Assistant to Program Coordinator, she was trained in all different areas of the Assisted Living Community. Working in Adult Family Homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant serving DD clients, Mental health Client, TBI, and Autism clients, April found this to become her passion as it was rewarding to make a difference in someone else’s life.
 
April has received several awards and certifications throughout her time in the healthcare field. One stood out more than others. In April of 2015, she attended the WALA Administrator Training Course, where she received first hand Training from individuals appointed from the State of Wisconsin. After completing the WALA Administrator Training Course, it was evident that this was April’s passion. April felt empowered and confident to move to the next chapter in her career. With over a decade of in-depth experience and training overseeing the day-to-day operations of Adult Family Homes, Community Based Residential Facilities, Adult Day Programs and Vocational Services, April’s commitment and empathy towards building a safe and pleasant home environment for individuals is precedence.
